§ 2-44. Mayor responsible for overall application.

(1)

The mayor shall be responsible for overall application of these rules and regulations within the town government. All employment by the Town of Baldwin is on an at-will basis. The mayor and town foreman are jointly responsible for recruiting candidates and recommending termination of employees who may work outside of Town Hall, while the mayor and clerk are jointly responsible for recruiting candidates and recommending termination of employees who work at Town Hall. The town council shall make the final decision on hiring and firing employees.

Drug screening. All new applicants will be subject to drug and alcohol tests as set forth in Division 4—Drug and Alcohol Testing Policy prior to final approval for employment.
