§ 21-59. Connecting heat pump to town sewer system declared unlawful.

It is hereby declared to be unlawful to connect a heat pump to the town sewer system. All persons who presently have heat pumps connected to the sewer system shall cause such heat pumps to be disconnected from the town sewer system and connected to an alternate disposal system permissible under local, state and federal law. Anyone violating this section, shall be subject to a fine not to exceed two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) and imprisonment not to exceed sixty (60) days.
