§ 23. Record of ordinances.

  • It shall be the duty of the town clerk to keep a record of all ordinances adopted by the town council in a permanent book kept for that purpose. A copy of any ordinance therefrom, certified to by the town clerk under the seal of said town, shall be taken and considered in all courts of this state as prima facie evidence that such ordinance was duly passed and posted or published as required by law.
