§ 8-1. Adoption of code.

  • (a)

    For the purpose of providing for the protection of its citizens from the dangers of fire arising in connection with hazardous processes and materials, the town hereby adopts the fire prevention code of the City of Jacksonville, Florida, as it existed on the date of adoption of this Code of Ordinances.

    (b)

    Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, and where not in conflict with the laws of the state pertaining thereto, all of the rules and regulations contained in the fire prevention code above mentioned are hereby incorporated as a part of this Code as fully as though each part, section, clause and phrase were set out herein at length.
