§ 6-1. Adoption of state election laws.

  • (a)

    In the registration of voters and the conduct of all general and special elections in the town, except as otherwise provided by the Charter or ordinances of the town, the provisions of the laws of this state, as contained in the state election code appearing as Chapters 97 through 106, Florida Statutes, are hereby adopted for the regulation of general and special elections of the town.

    (b)

    Any person violating the provisions of the state election code shall be subject to the penalties provided by section 1-9.
