§ 5-20. Demolition or repair by town.

If the unsafe structure is not demolished or the repair or restoration work is not performed within the time and as required by the director of the department of housing and urban development or the building codes adjustment board, the director shall cause such demolition or repair or restoration work to be performed by independent contractors.
