§ 2-82. Execution of necessary agreement; administration.

The mayor and town council are hereby authorized and directed to execute all necessary agreements with the division of retirement of the state department of administration, as state agency, for the purpose of extending the benefits provided by the system of old-age and survivors insurance to the employees and officials of the town as provided in section 2-81, which agreements shall provide for such methods of administration of the plan by the town as are found by the state agency to be necessary and proper, and which shall be effective with respect to services in employment covered by such agreements performed on and after the fifth day of April, 1956.
